As soon as he said “otp”, my heart skipped a beat. I knew what I had to do. I dashed to my son’s room, grabbed two of his favorite T-shirts, and hastily folded them. My mind was racing as I returned to the foyer, scanning my phone for the one-time password he needed. My eyes widened in panic as I realized it wasn’t there. His deep voice broke through my frantic thoughts. “Don’t worry madam, I will come back later.” I watched as he walked away, wondering if I had just narrowly escaped disaster.
