How to increase your kids' life expectancy ?
By Madhurie Singh, May 02, 2013
Yesterday, we were watching a program on The History Channel about how the statistics of time, age and mental abilities have changed over the period of 100 years!
Before I tell you about the tips that will actually increase the life expectancy or the age of your children, let me share with you a funny child talk.
While discussing the program and one of the tips that will increase the age, my younger son was very confused. So I asked him as to why he had a question mark on his face!
He asked me if it was really possible to increase the age if he did all that was in the show.
When I nodded in affirmative, he asked me a simple question that was bothering him.
“So if I follow all the tips to increase my age, does that mean this birthday, I will be 10 years instead of 9 years?”
That’s what I call lateral thinking! I would have never thought it this way as my brain has learnt to interpret “increase in the age” means adding more years in the old age.
Anyway, I explained to him, that it actually meant living a longer life than others of the same age is called increasing your life expectancy.
Tips to increase the life expectancy of your children.
- Eating nuts of any type every day, increases the life by 2.9 years.
- Brushing teeth properly and flossing , also increases your life as the teeth has billions of germs that can get into the body and blood and damage our heart and other organs.
- Living stress free or in children’s world, not really killing them for marks will make them live longer.
- Playing and doing lots of outdoor activities as much as possible will definitely increase their lives.
Well I am sure you must be doing all or most of it but this does not limit to the children, even you can increase your life expectancy by following the same tips but with a change.
