Phonetics:
1: E
When is alone in any word; ‘E’  sounds like hindi alphabet      
For example:    BET  sounds like   hindi    with less time spent on B.
But whenever  ‘A’  or  ‘E’  vowel comes after the alphabet ‘E’,  the sound changes to  the  hindi alphabet   
for example:  Beet will now sound as
