Here's my review - I think this school is good. There are pros and cons in every school - but I am glad that this school maintains the discipline which I feel will go a long way in helping your child in whatever she does. The number of students in a class is something which you might worry about but I think the teacher's do a good job in checking each and every child's classwork. One of my observation is that the child learns a lot at school and even of there is a homework I see that the child is well equipped to do it on her own right from UKG. One of the drawback may be that the school lacks a ground - which I guess even the management even laments. Now with a central location like that of Helena's it is also difficult to even think of having a school ground nearby. But they also have a good swimming pool and a beautiful auditorium. They also have exhibitions. school picnics, Christmas celebrations, concerts , sports day and many more academic events. The school also has a good network of bus services - so chances are high that a St' Helena's bus might be coming right close to your home. They also have generous holidays though of late they have tried to restructure the school breaks to ensure continuity of the classes. So, it all depends what you are looking at - if you are looking for flashy interiors with sophisticated learning tools this place may not be the right one. But if you believe that you have been brought up in the right way ( which are now termed as traditional !!! ) and which has made you so successful then this school might also make your daughter a successful person and overall a good human being.

The website is down from long time. I am looking for admission for my daughter. Also tried visiting the school but they told come in last week of April.

Remember all Saintly schools are stuck in the past glory.

Please refrain from taking admission for your daughter in At Helena's. I have my daughter who studies in Helenas. I admitted her from the playgroup itself. The school has pathetic teaching conditions. The teachers teach only half of the portion and daily the students are asked to do the remaining half on their own at home. Secondly whenever there are exams the teachers are always still completing the exam portions right till the day of exams. Revision is not even in the picture portion completion is one headache. This has been happening with all parents who choose to keep silent on the issue to keep their child's identity safe and many including myself are choosing to shift them to other schools as whatever said to the management is like falling on a deaf ear.

I am glad you gave your frank opinion. When I wrote the similar view, a few parents who are in denial, tried to lable me as biased. Be brave for your own kids.
