Ladies a tip for you. Try to wear smart outfits only. No typical casually worn clothes will do.

If you wear western outfits kindly do not wear Bindi.

If you wear kurti,  keep it smart with jeans.

No chunky jewelry or even real gold heavy weight stuff.

Men, no T Shirts and faded jeans. As formal you can carry off is the idea.

No need to flash expensive gadgets to intimidate the principals.

Tip No 2.

All look and no performance will not lead you to anywhere.

So you must prepare for the interview just like you did to get that wonderful job.

Add to that a well planned set of questions that should be answered by each partner.

Decide amongst you and your spouse who will answer what category of questions and stick to that when you both are asked questions.

So about the child, age, food, mom, home, homework, past school one spouse may answer, the board, why this school, distance, work, time etc the other partner may answer.

Do not give a blank stare to the principal.

Do not nudge each other to answer the question.

Do not cut your partner in between.
