Namaste 🙏 Dear Parents,
Welcome to Week 1 of our journey together — Trusted Parents Shabari Circle: Screen Addiction & Healthy Digital Habits.
First, I, Madhurie Singh, want to say — you are an amazing parent for choosing to join this program. You have taken the first step. You have recognised the issue. While many parents are still sleeping, you have acknowledged that there is a Screen Addiction Issue. That is commendable.
In today’s world, where screens are all around us — in our homes, schools, even in our pockets — it takes true awareness to pause and ask:
“Is this helping or hurting my child’s mind and future?”
That awareness is your biggest strength 💪 — and from here, we will take small, steady steps to create positive changes in your child’s screen habits.
Remember, there is no magic pill, or a jaadoo ki chappi. Nothing will change overnight, just because you have purchased the course. You still have to work on the issue, on your child and your own self. Because the habit did not get magically into the body by a virus or bacteria. It took time, maybe one year, two years, five years or ten years or fifteen years! Whatever be the time of exposure to the screens, you are now aware and willing to take action. Even though it may take time.

🤗 A little note from me (Madhurie Singh)
“I have walked this path as a parent. I’ve faced the screen battles, the tantrums, the tired eyes. I have dealt with my two teenage boys, who are now adults and successfully working in their careers, after we went through the journey of Screen De-Addiction together. Was it easy? No Way! It was one of the most uncomfortable times as a family.
Through this journey, I’ve learned that screen addiction is NOT a problem of bad parenting — it is a problem of modern life. There are multi-billion-dollar companies trying to come up with strategies to capture people’s attention with their content. So we have to fight those modern time raakshasaas.
And the solution lies in awareness, empathy, and wise parenting choices.
Together — in this safe space — I will help you find your way.”
